“Championing the transfer of practical Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts & Maths skills through innovative Tech platforms”

2021 Theme: Adapt| Build | Collaborate

Our Projects

Over the past few years, we have focused on championing Digital Literacy  and its utilisation as an educational tool to improve the learning experiences of the African Child.

We have done this through 3 Programme Areas:

  • Literacy Outreaches: Includes digital literacy clubs and train the teacher sessions which train students and their trainers-teachers and volunteers.
  • Ananse the Teacher App: #AnanseTheTeacher App is a gamified learning app, which uses folklore to guide its users to conduct  hands on STEAM (Science,Technology,Engineering,Arts and Mathematics) activities with everyday materials.
  • Lab and Library On Wheels & Maker Spaces: through key partnerships, we have championed the development of a portable tech lab which transforms any existing classroom into a laboratory for practical STEAM skill acquisition. We have also established  3 tech innovation hubs in different rural and low income community schools. The portable tech lab and hubs give participants in our programme a sustainable way of practicing lessons, while harnessing their problem solving skills and innovation
