PROFILE

Daniel Appiah Gyekye is a media and communication scholar, researcher, and community advocate passionate about education, digital innovation, and social impact. He is currently a PhD candidate in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Oregon, where his research focuses on immersive media, gamification, African storytelling, and inclusive STREAM/STEM and STEAM education. His work combines media, technology, research, and community engagement to promote educational equity, cultural preservation, and opportunities for underserved communities both locally and globally.
