Time aso oo, Time aso!!.
Once again, time is almost up for ICT Summer Camp. ICT Summer Camp is an initiative of Young at Heart GH. It is a weeklong outreach where volunteers (students and alumni) from various tertiary institutions across the country converge to teach and inspire basic school pupils in a selected community.
This camp is organized with the aim of working towards Young at Heart’s vision, which is “to champion Computer Literacy among children in Africa with special focus on Rural Africa via Computers and other E-learning platforms.”
This year’s edition will be the fourth. And it promises to be the most exciting and impactful ever! The destination for this year is the Akaa community in the Eastern region of Ghana.
Volunteers will guide children in Akaa and surrounding communities to discover the process of Design THINKING in solving problems; using Digital Tools as an enabling platform.
Wondering why you should sign up for Summer Camp? Read what Seiwah, a volunteer of YaH UG and participant of last year’s Summer Camp had to say “Summer camp is the best thing you can do from 28th May to 4th June…. it’s time to pause our own worlds and make the lives of others better.”
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to make impact!
